It was written by Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof, and illustrated by artist Leinil Francis Yu and colorist Dave McCaig. The title characters square off after Wolverine is contracted by Nick Fury to assassinate the Hulk, who is known to be residing in Tibet. The series features cameos by other Ultimate characters, as well as the introduction of Ultimate She-Hulk.
It was originally planned as a 6-issue, bimonthly series in 2006. But after 2 issues, the remainder of the series was postponed until Lindelof finished all of the scripts, and the series began publication again with a new issue in March 2009
The series takes place between Ultimate X-Men # 69 & 71 and before Ultimates 2 # 11. The miniseries is a throwback to Wolverine's comic debut in The Incredible Hulk #180-182.

Last Don - DA coming back is the worst thing to happen to my work productivity in a long, long time. When DA is back, I will be slacking off. Because he's busy now, helping the GG out with stuff to read. |

Hulk dismembering wolvie, fight over. I also like how fury explains Logan's "healing" power, it's more of a pure survival power.

Last Don, oh dayum, didn't mean it that way to call you out on calling me DA... meant that when DA is back in posting regularity, i will be slacking off a bit. i have stuff uploaded but hard to post due to work firewalls (15 mins windows of quota time, then they block me, i then have to click to have another 15 mins windows)
that and don't want to bombard the GG and give them time to read lol |
