Hughes actually said after the fight he knew if he tried to choke him out he wouldn't tap & didn't want to do that to Royce.. So he dropped bombs instead.

Miiiiiiighty defensive there. We're glad you came and told us! We were just about to start talking about how BJJ and MMA are the SAME EXACT THING until you came along and set us straight!!

I am not defensive, or "setting you straight". What I was trying to express to you is that there is a DISTINCT difference in being a practioner of both MMA and BJJ. Not necessarily the danger in both, but, the difference in general.

As long as the person being submitted is a high level BJJ black belt, it's good for this thread, even if the fighter performing the submission is a high level black belt himself.
