I'm sure the 2 atom bombs you killed millions of innocent civilians is more than enough redemption also

Look at how viciously they fought and died to defend meaningless islands.

There were reports of pockets of Japanese still thinking the war was going on years after the war was over, stranded on some remote island.

Honestly, it was probably the threat that Tokyo would be next that finally got them to surrender.

The code of warfare was quite different for the Japanese than it was for the Germans and Italians.

I no the japanese probably wouldn't have surrendered so it was probably necessary but my point was to say they are still due redemption for it is ridiculous

The Japanese pilots that attacked were anything but cowardly, in fact they embodied the direct opposite dying for a cause (even if the cause is wrong) btw my father missed his boat heading to PH and was stuck in San Fran.
