Wine storage issue.....

Z NEDCMK1 36 Member Since: 4/1/10 Posts: 3214	My wine cooler is full, and I have about 120 bottles over flow i need to store somewhere. The wife wabnts them on display but ide rather spend the money for racks on more wine. Any creative thoughts on how to store it?

cynder blocks and 2x4s. make a rack in your basement. you can also make decent racks with PVC pipe cut to hold a single bottle. you can glue it together and wrap it with a wood or wire frame.

personally, i prefer racks, but your right, they can add up. my cellar holds about 300 bottles. racks cost me $500 or so. look for modular options if you go the premade rack route so you can expand as you need.
