I wanna say this team and the current situation reminds me of the 2000 Lakers, but most of these guys are just plain scrubs that aren't good in the 2nd half. Even if Kobe decides he wants to play as a team, you can't rely on guys like Jamison, Meeks, Ebanks, etc etc to make that big shot. I wanna say it but I feel it's too much of an insult. They need a better bench. Should of got Fisher back too. |

heavyweightmma -Its still early in the season and I've laughed at silly Knicks fans for cumming there pants over a decent start so I can't get to down on the lakers but at this point I doubt they make it past the 1st round.phdinmma - So, these guys are gonna win the championship this year? Old Steve Nash isn't going to turn them from a shit team into a contender.

man.... they've been getting worse and worse as time went on. not good. even if they turn it all around and get to full strength, all these losses will be a big factor in the playoffs. :( |

Rough year but if this team can turn it around it'll be one of the most interesting squads ever to watch. This is just painful though. |

Lakers could get beat down tonight. They need to play at least a good game to get SOME respect back. Time for Dwight Howard to step up...lol that doesn't even sound right anymore. |

Steve Nash will have a lot more success under D'Antoni's system then people think he will. He's already proven he can go to the finals with it, twice I believe? Kobe has also ensured the fans recently they're going to get Pau down in the post as soon as he comes back, this is HUGE news. Two months ago I was dreaming of the epic roster this team had and how they were going to get a 50-55 win season, now I see how stupid I was to think that. I KNOW though, that if the Laker's take the right steps from here, this season will still be a good one. |

JimmersonzGlove - This. Under Bickerstaff, the Lakers weren't under any specific offense and were playing beautifully, they went 4-1 in first 5, should have been 5-0 for bad calls in a two point loss to the spurs, but there's no reason to complain now. |

hellride - What's wrong with these guys?What were people's honest expectations of this roster? Nash can't walk, Gasol softness isn't going to cut it in the WNBA. Metta World War...enough said. The depth on this team is a absolutelty atrocious... Kobe and Dwight alone wont beat the top teams in the league. This team just isnt getting any production...3 years ago and this team takes the West. I will eat shit if a 39 year old Nash comes back to being a top PG in the league and Gasol regains his all-star form.

I don't think Gasol is playing still, which will hurt our rebounding and defense, but if we do pull out the win we'll have momentum going back home. |

Good 1st quarter in terms of beyond the arc, but bad in turnovers once again, but our defense has been better. Let's keep this up. |

I'm watching, good first half for the Lakers even though they had 5 turnovers in the first 5 minutes. Lakers not playing great but Philly playing worse. Lakers really need to improve on defence if they are going to be a force, the offence is a bit clunky but that should improve when Nash and Pau come back, their defence has been horrendous this season though, don't know how with Dwight, Metta and Kobe on the team
