TexasBadAss - Also heard that Lanza drove to his mom's house and shot her and then took her car to the school. If this was true, where was he staying? I thought he lived at home with an over protective mother. I'm still at work so I jumped here to end of thread to see if the OG had solved this car riddle, or if its just being laughed off as I might expect here? anyway, good question and this is how one should approach these type events. God forbid we don't trust what we're told. |

Mark1 -Corrosion can occur in a matter of a few minutes. Does not matter what the car was coated with. The bullet broke down the surface profile of the metal thus changing the chemical consistency of the metal. It takes a little bit of moisture not to mention a sliver of whatever the bullet was made of to interact with the vehicles metal layer. You now have what is considered a corrosion cell. The difference would be what type of metal the vehicles skin was made of and the difference in the galvanic scale of the type of metal of the bullet.EasyTapper -But that isn't unpainted steel. Cars used galvanized steel with a phosphate e coat and primer.Wes_Mantooth - It looks like there is corrosion on the bullet hole in the green car. That doesn't look like it happened recently. The state of corrosion in those pictures is indicative that those bullet holes were freshly made.

That's the car he drove, allegedly, correct? The same one that is registered to a Christopher Rodia, correct? Are these facts being disputed? I don't have the energy right now the go through and read every page. I purposely posted this question as a stand alone question and i'm not interested in arguing about some grand conspiracy. Honest. I didn't even mean to post the part about the bullet hole but i was in a hurry and included it. There might be an innocent explanation for why Adam's mom's car was registered to a hardened criminal, but that only exemplifies how shitty our mainstream media is at basic journalism. The question needed to be asked immediately. And so do a lot of other questions despite the fact that we've been basically told, "case closed....move on to arguing about guns"...

well the whole batman sandyhook thing was explained. lets just not jump to conclusions here. i kind of wish it was some type of a conspiracy because it would make more sense. thats much easier to accept than just some random kid who decided he wanted to kill a bunch of people bcause he didnt fit in with the world |

It's interesting that if that's the case, those people have an entirely different view of the now "official" story. So a bunch of stuff was misreported but now the story has been refined and we've been given a simple, non-detailed description of what happened. And that car is still supposed to be the one Lanza drove, as far as i can find. This isn't even a "conspiracy" issue, imo. It's a simple fucking question that anyone who gives two shits about the fact that 20 children were allegedly mowed down execution style would ask. I want details. Not some simple narrative and than a quick switch to gun-control conversation. If you want conspiracy stuff, THIS is conspiracy stuff...
