Another Tarantino masterpiece. Fit his style of film perfectly. It was a bit long but the story, the music and the editing were all awesome.

I hear people are mad, specially blacks, because there's alot of N word going around in that movie. It's not like it supposed to portrait times of slavery. Shit even, Spike Lee is mad, and he only gets mad about reasonable things. |

But shit its 2012 get used to this kinda stuff.

The whole blacks hating the film is way overstated. Saw it in a mostly black seated audience and there was plenty of laughter, gasps, and even some applause. Its just Spike Lee's quote that people are taking and building a craze over. Last I checked he is not the ordained speaker for all Blacks. One people i saw leave was a small group of women who brought their 3 year old (what the hell did they think he was going to see?) |

I got chills when they busted out the rap tune during the shootout. Bravo Tarantino. "Eskimo Joe"!

My theater applauded at the end and no one left Then again, I saw in Orange County, home of 0 black people, so probably not the most representative demographic |

But that said, I wouldn't take my whole family to see a Quentin movie. It always bothers me when parents bring kids to R-Rated movies. Seems very idiotic. All that and I think its the N-Word and us being uncomfortable with the way Quetin seems fixated on the oddest aspects of Black culture. IN his own stupid way I think he thinks he is empowering minorities with his depections. Whatevs. I will see it cause I like Jamie. I'll post my thoughts afterwards. In the meantime, OG should feel free to accuse Quentin of sleeping with a black guy. I would actually approve in this rare instance. lol |

dizz - Actually there's like 3 of them... I swear to god I've seen them before. 2 went to El toro high (only two black kids in the whole school) and one was only 1/2 black so technically that's 1 1/2 black people. |

Sam Jackson stole the show imo, in a movie already filled with show-stealers, Waltz and DiCaprio. Great character!

Awesome movie. Waltz is the fucking man. Hate to admit it, but Dicaprio played that character brilliantly and deserves an Oscar for that performance. I'm no fan of his, but he was awesome. Many many "N" bombs dropped, but the movie is so clearly anti-slavery you'd have to be a retard to get offended. Saw what looked to be a 5yr old girl in the theater. Well played, parents of the year. Well played.

"Leonardo DiCaprio cut his hand while the cameras were rolling on the set of "Django Unchained" and kept moving through the scene, never breaking character. His real-life bloodied hand made it into the final version of the film, The Weinstein Company has confirmed with Yahoo! Movies." Does this mean he wiped his real bloody hand on the girls face during that scene?

Gonna see it soon. I actually like long movies. Makes me feel like I'm getting my moneys worth. Just some monkey psychology I guess. As for the N word, I'm surprised to many people are getting upset. Its widely known it was going to be used and its a damn tarentino film. During slavery. That being said, its not a damn family film. If you got a cool chick, take her. Otherwise probably best to watch with some homies |

was not too long at all. Same length as Skyfall which was wayyyy too long. Django time flew by, one of those where time doesnt bother you, skyfall was slow and boring and felt like a 3 hour movie. Does sam jackson get nominated for supporting actor? does the main guy get nominated? I tihnk he is one of the top 3 actors right now. Leo and Denzel being the other ones (mainstream) |

Territory - Sam Jackson stole the show imo, in a movie already filled with show-stealers, Waltz and DiCaprio. Great character! There were so many amazing acting performances in that movie, but I agree that Jackson was probably the highlight....Jackson, DiCaprio, and the German bloke. Foxx was also excellent and would have normally stole the show were it not for his co-stars. |
