White dude gets KTFO literally 1.15 seconds into the fight and it takes the ref double that time to get over there (not that that's long lol). Ask amateur boxers why they do it 45 times before going pro

Amateur boxing is regulated and follows different rules for the safety of inexperienced boxers. I don't have to tell you that. There is a definite difference when an amateur MMA fighter has had 45 fights under rules deemed "amateur" but is just full contact and a boxer that has had 45 fights with protection and regulated rules.

Amateur boxers beef up their resume to eventually catch the eye of a promoter when becoming pro and hopefully cash out eventually. How many great amateur prospects have you heard of in mma that the public couldn't wait to see become pro?

Simply there is no such thing as amateur mma until it is regulated, just some wacky scheme by low tier promoters to get away with not paying fighters and profiting off of it.

I used to manage guys.

I made them take 10 amateur fights befor I'd let them turn pro.

Get cage jitters out... test some limits...no cencern of actual result.

Get a 0-0 Pro with 10 amateurs in there with a 5-0 pro with no ammy fights and see who walks out with their hand up.
