johnonguitar7 - I've been thinking seriously about this the last few days and have come to the conclusion that if the government try to take my weapons away in going to go down fighting.

I have enough food and water for 6 months and enough ammo to sink an aircraft carrier. I've got a selection of handguns, a couple of AR-15's and a few other surprises up my sleeve. They better be careful where they be steppin'.

I appreciate your sentiment, but look at every example of this that made the news, and how well it worked out for the citizen. Ruby Ridge comes to mind.

You'd be better off devoting your energy to concealing the fact you have them.

It was a terrible tragedy. I lost all of mine in an unfortunate boating accident. They all fell to the bottom of a very deep lake. You have ignored this user.

Points are overrated anyway. When defending your home against a federal or government attack you will want to avoid an open fire fight if you can... There's lots of steps you can take to secure your property and land. IED's, trip wires and ditches/pits will be your friend. Will set up kill zones and bottleneck so you can pick the fuckers off
