This ain't Kongo or rothwell. Cain is getting crushed again. He might make it to round 2 if he's a blanket in the first Phone Post

JDS is known to smash. I learned how to smash from JDS.

JDS taught me how to smash.

Can't believe people have so much faith in Cain, based on zero factual evidence.  I don't get it.

libertines24 - I still think JDS wins, but Cain isn't screwed like some believe.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_586580&feature=iv&src_vid=CnRVGpt3-5k&v=t0-90Y3ygAw

There is a few things that he could do in this fight to give JDS a problem

1. Move forward.

If you notice Junior isn't exactly like Chuck. He seems to generate a lot less power when moving backwards. When JDS caught Cain it was when Cain was standing still. Cain has the cardio to push the pace. It's just a dangerous game. Look at 5:12-5:15 he seems a little awkward moving back.

2. Don't throw kicks without a punch first!

Cain is really good when he throws kicks and punches in bunches but he got caught in the match when he did throw a kick by itself, but his stronger kicks is when he throws his hands first. 5:18

3. Keep your counters tight and quick

Cain does two counters in this fight that seem to be key. One was at 5:24 when he counters a right hand with a lead kick that seems to throw Junior off balance. That causes Junior to throw a kick to keep Cain off balance and that KICK is key because Cain needs that to take Junior down. He does the same counter again at 5:35. His best counter comes at 5:39 when Junior takes a big 1-2. Cain also counters with a straight to the head when Junior does his belly punch.

4. He gots hit when moving back, and when he stopped countering

JDS hit him with a huge right hand, and ends the fight when Cain starts moving backwards.

Don't get me wrong. I think JDS is a better boxer but Cain with the right game plan could give Junior big problems. The thing is it is scary to move forward against JDS. In fact I know some may laugh at this, but prime Fedor is the perfect fighter to beat Junior. You need a fearless fighter that isn't afraid of the big punches. Cain could be that fighter though. He has to move forward because moving back against junior is death.
Go read the jack slack thread on Cains striking. As soon as he attacks his head goes straight up which lends itself to getting hit and koed.

This is the very reason Kongo dropped him on multiple occasions. Phone Post

His trainer said he has the best cardio in the sport and his friend and traneing partner Daniel Cormier says he's a beast in the gym. That's all the UG needs.

I know, but standing on the outside isn't smart either. He has the push the pace on the feet it's the only way. Cain can't out strike the striker I don't need a stupid article by some Anderson hater to see that. Cain needs to make the fight ugly

Cain needs to make the fight boring, not ugly. He needs to cage press and blanket Junior until his stamina drops. An ugly fight can go sideways for Cain too. He needs to be very controlled and single minded. Clinch and cage press, TD, stay in guard and pepper him with shots....keep doing that until Junior is sucking wind, then turn up the gnp

Olive Garden Table For One - Cain doesn't have the chin or power to win a striking battle, but he has the wrestling and cardio to win a decision Phone Post
He's ended every fight he's won in the UFC via TKO or KO. May not have the same one punch power as JDS but certainly has the track record as far stopping guys with strikes goes. Phone Post
Orly? He decisioned cup cheick. And he truly stopped a broken nog. Other fighters he got bisping stoppages. Phone Post
Already been reminded of that. But saying he Bisping'd Lesnar, Rothwell, and Bigfoot is a joke. He threw Rothwell around like a doll and dropped him several times, ripped Lesnar apart and nearly killed Silva. Not to mention the frickin brilliant combo that put Nog down. It seems like JDS (who's probably my favorite fighter) has been elevated to unbeatable status and Cain demoted from the best in the world to a one-dimensional G and P fighter which is total BS. He showed some of the fire and aggression missing in the JDS fight against Silva and I believe we are in for a SICK fight. Phone Post
Just saying! Phone Post

I've been saying the same thing about Cain for years. Bobby Lupo don't need no Jack Slack to see a fucking mismatch and make money on it. UFC is pushing Cain for the Mexican/Chicano fans. He's not a top of the pile HW. He's got MW power and a MW chin, and he's fighting an aggressive, athletic beast who we all already know can knock him out

Cain was a fatbody for the JDS fight. I doubled up after the weigh in, might do it again this time if he comes in soft and heavy again.

You have really been an idiot lately.

JROTT - In the first fight, Cain got clipped early, and I just don't see it happening again so quick. I have a feeling Cain is gonna wall n stall for a bit at first just to tire out JDS and then work for some takedowns and gnp.

lol I'll be honest. I forgot I made this thread. The fight was more one sided than I thought, but I always knew Cain can strike with the best of them. I loved how he used the wrestling in that fight.

You got a VTFU from me OP.  That was impressive.  I especially liked how you predicted the manner he'd be able to outstrike him
