With Cain the HW champ, the emergence of Erik Perez, and Tuf mexico in the works for 2013... the amigos are gonna be running shit at the lighter weights a few years from now. Imagine a guy who fights like leanord Garcia but with skill... that's mexico. |

Agreed, mexico has produced some solid boxers and I'm sure there are at least a few talented mixed martial artists waiting to be discovered. Especially at the lighter weight classes.

when I think of Mexican greats in regards to combat sports I think smaller guys. Its weird to see a great Mexican fighter at heavyweight.

The browns are taking over (mexicans, brazilians)... The russians and the guys from the caucusus are the only hope we have left for the white man. |

that's one advantage the UFC has over boxing in the hopes of getting some attention. HW mexican champ is like a unicorn you could parade around.

Agreed, mexico has world class tae kwon do, boxing, karate, not to sure about grappling but if you add that to their arsenal with some kickboxing/muaythai. you'd have some top contenders/prospects |

No. There are as many Mexicans champs as there are Korean black champs. And it's not the Korean black era.
