UFC 155: Joe Lauzon Must Have Big 2013 to Remain in UFC

"Joe Lauzon's latest loss at the hands of Jim Miller in UFC 155 has left Lauzon in desperate need of a big year in 2013 if he wants to keep his job in president Dana White's company."

"The 28-year-old fighter has lost two of his last three fights, and even his last two wins haven't been all that impressive."

"If he wants a future in the UFC, Lauzon must run the table on those fights or any amount of fights he sees next year. Inconsistency and losing will never be tolerated in the UFC, and Lauzon is quickly approaching that distinction."

Nope. His 47 second Submission of the Night winning rear naked choke win over Melvin Guillard and Fight of the Night/Submission of the Night triangle choke win over Jamie Varner weren't all that impressive at all.

It's obvious this stupid ass doesn't even WATCH the fights, and surely didn't last night. If he did, he'd clearly have saw that Lauzon and Miller SAVED a pay per view that was circling down the drain after the Brunson-Leben, Okami-Belcher and Phillipou-Boetsch fights that were anything but fast paced or fan friendly.

I'd sincerely like to ask Moratis to inform us all when the last time Joe had a boring fight was. I'd also like him to inform us, since he knows what's tolerated and what's not, what DFW's exact criteria for maintaining employment in the UFC is.

As someone who is part of that "MMA Media," it really annoys the piss out of me when I see such ignorance spewed by people who claim to be part of it.. And this piece CLEARLY stinks of ignorance. Quite a large portion of the MMA Media have bad reputations because of crap like this, and I really DON'T want to be lumped into that crowd. However, the more we see garbage like this, the more I will be. You also think as they grow, BR would be a TAD more selective of people they let write.

In a nutshell.... Guys like Joe will have job security for a long time. Sorry for the FRAT.

After the first round they ran out to get their wives in to watch the display of heart and courage Joe put on. Easily one of the best fights of 2012. You have ignored this user.

LOL! Nice find, Kirik. But I wouldn't invest too much into anything BR has to say. It's good to know someone is keeping an eye on their BS, though. That seriously looks, walks, talks, and smells like a friggin' troll article to me. After reading the first few lines I found myself thinking "Is this real life?" with the word "TROLL" in all big, red caps flashing in my head everytime I blinked while reading it. Utterly ludicrous. Where Jonathan Snowden wrote Hater-Aid hit pieces on Belfort and Bonnar that he removed and apologized for because they were so pointed?

The same Snowden who wrote a hit piece on why Colton Smith is a bad representative of the Army and included such reasoning as his grey trunks?
