Cain was constantly clinching with JDS not allowing him to throw any punches. He was completely smothering him with grappling and wrestling. |

Overeem will have a tough time against the speed of Cain OR Junior IF they bring their A game. Hell... Overeem had a semi-tough time with the stand up of Werdum simply because of his hand speed. |

Cain will pressure overeem and he'll break.

Cain gave JDS no space, JDS needs space to box.
Overreem needs superior position in the clinch and space to work. Cain just has to pressure, change levels and tire him out. |

The reem can do damage but he's the underdog in my books

No Shogun KO -Timtek - Overeem will have a tough time against the speed of Cain OR Junior IF they bring their A game. Hell... Overeem had a semi-tough time with the stand up of Werdum simply because of his hand speed. It wasn't werdums hand speed. It was his game plan. No one including the reem thought werdum would stand with him. Reem looked lost during that fight because of it. Yep and also overeem was being extremely cautious of the possible take down so his striking was really held back |

If he tries to apply that pressure that he put jds in the 1st round hes going to get hurt bad by Overeem. If it goes past the 2nd round, cain takes his belt back home... |

Reem will work knee's and try to stuff takedowns against the cage. The knee's will wear Cain down. I know alot of posters have a hate on for reem, like pretending werdum outstruck him, when all he did was throw a few then flop on his ass so he could not get hit. Reem will beat cain. Reem needs to make sure he works on his cardio though. That could be his downfall. |

Overeem needs to finish in the first two rounds, otherwise his cardio is not going to hold out against a machine like Cain. Velasquez by stoppage, round 4 imo. |

Overeem is gonna just throw him away when he clinches and possibly lift him up off his feet with a standing guillotine. It`s gonna look like a kid fighting his dad. |

Cain has a lot more to worry about with reem, it's still a fight Cain can win though no doubt.

I think Reem has the ground game to be relatively safe on the ground with Cain. With Werdum he likely would have been submitted quickly. |

Reem punches a lot straighter than JDS. I see the Kongo fight as a partial blue print. Straight punches down the middle as Cain works for the clinch. As he begins telegraphing his takedowns, time a knee. Bingo. |

Reem's best striking is up close, his knees in the clinch is second to none and he has a devastating guillotine. If Cain can get into the later rounds he has it, likewise if Cain can get the takedown without needing to clinch he has it too. |

DoomFarmer - Reems knees are a death sentence and he will throwing them with a reckless abandon. This. How'd it take a whole page? |

If Cain clinches with Overeem Cain will get hurt. Overeems stand up is on another level than even JDS. If Cain tries to clinch with him he will eat knee after knee. |
