I don't get the majority of my taxes back! Are you fucking kidding? If I claim ZERO dependents the entire year, I MAY get an $800.00 federal return. Last year I got a 200.00 federal return. I owed the state closer to 500.00.

I don't know what fantasty world you're living in, but unless you're popping out tons of kids, you get taxed like anyone else.

I get paid bi-weekly. SS, FED, Medicare, State/Local all add up to roughly 34%. That number is not all Federal - I know this - Doesnt matter what form of tax it is - It's gone before I ever see it.

I was curious about this too, but for a different reason.  First off, it will depend on your cost of living.  $390k may very well be middle class in New York or LA.

In po dunk small town in Middle America, that probably isn't Middle Class.

What I don't understand is the OP considering free loaders as Middle Class.  Wouldn't they fall in the Lower Class?

Do you not file your taxes every year? You know that big check you get at the beginning of the new fiscal year? YES, that is your not-hard earned money being given back to you, while the rich pay more to keep your ass afloat.

How old are you? 15? It's you who's seemingly never filed your taxes. I'm middle class as fuck. I do not get a big check back. In fact, I barely get anything at all.

There's no big check unless you've got deductions - The most common of which is children. You either know this and are trolling, or you're a moran. I'm going to peg you as the former.

If you're indeed serious, you need to do your homework. It's EIC's you need to bastardize, not the tax-paying middle class. Nobody gets big checks back unless they have massive deductions or EIC's.
