Dana should be rolling out the red carpet for Barnett, who single handedly took out what was once the UFC's biggest threats,"Affliction. Dont you all remember all the counter programing and pressure was applied to Zuffa with some Competion. That alone should earn Barnett at least a 3 fight deal. You have ignored this user.

A lot of newbs support him because they just don't know his history. Were this were a few years ago, before the FOX deal, Barnett would already be signed. Now that FOX is perched on DFW's shoulder, you can bet the farm we won't see him. You have ignored this user.

It's not like he's even been one of the ose guys who said sorry or I was injured etc. I don't think he has the drawing the power to make the risk worth it, but I'm pretty cheap maybe Dana can afford it. Dana White: PUT YOUR EGO ASIDE ON THIS ONE. Josh Barnett is not the fighter he once was - but he's STILL good enough to beat just about any heavyweight on any given night. He's too big, too tough, too mean, and too skilled to count him out of anything.

And he knows how to make just about every fight he has an exciting fight that almost always goes to a decisive finish - and not to some split decision.

And his catch wrestling skills usually means that when it goes to the ground - this is going to be one helluva fight. No pulling guard or lay and pray boredom in a Barnett fight.

Not from him or from his opponent - because he'll make them pay if they try any of that.

And he's tough enough to stand and bang with the best of them.

YOU NEED HIM IN THE UFC HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION, DANA.

Make it happen.
