Completely disagree. RHCP is the only band that I have ever been a fan of.

With other bands, I'll like some songs they do... but that's about it. RHCP is the only band where I like almost every song they've ever done.

By the way (no pun), not only is Flea talented, but so is the drummer Chad Smith and the (former) guitarist John Frusciante.

Music Radar named Smith the 6th greatest drummer of all time, and Modern Drummer named him the 2nd greatest living drummer.

Frusciante is #18 on Rolling Stone's greatest guitarists of all-time.

Flea is Rolling Stone's #2 bassist of all-time.

I know it's all subjective... but the bottom line is that the band can play.
Fuckin A man... I've seen them 8 times, one of the greatest bands of our time.

Man, you're lucky. I've never seen them live. I was going to go see them when they came to town this year but I wasn't able to when the time came around.

But even still, it wouldn't be the same without Frusciante on guitar.

Either way, cool story about Dana. I think he came from the same place that us common people came from and tends to spread the love and joy as much as he can. I wouldn't expect anything less from Dana. He's an asshole boss when he needs to be but will give you the shirt off his back if thinks you warrant it.

Blue Name Please. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34b6laGh8no For those who don't know, Mr. Bungle was once kicked off a major international tour because Anthony Kiedis was pissed about how Mike Patton supposedly stole all of his moves, his sound, despite the fact that Patton sounds, moves, looks nothing like RHCP. So Mr. Bungle decided to make fun of them, constantly. That video is one of the better pieces of footage of Mr.Bungle making fun of them. There's more to the story, but this is one of those long story short things.
