If I was one of these top female fighters I'd be slow to over expose wmma to the world. Look at the early UFC champs, generally one style with some adaptation. As the sport grew, the vast majority of these guys got destroyed by the new breed. So careful girls, don't invite the hurricane

Well, not one fight that I saw last night was stopped for a low knee or kick to the groin. I guess that is a good thing to save time and keep the fights moving (especially since most of them go the distance). |

No. The only event which women actually have an edge is extreme ultra long distance swimming. You swim like 75 miles in cold water.
The fat in breasts and buttocks makes it cost women less energy to stay afloat and warm and the men tend to crap out faster.
Thats it.
UIn everything else, the olympic world champ women are roughly the equivalent of elite highschool or D1 college men in their respective event.
And thats not to put women down. Its to simply recognize that the human female is not built for strength and speed the way the human male is. Likewise, the human male lacks the aesthetics and child-rearing ability of the female.
Men are in no obligated to pretend that female athletes are the mirror-image of their male counterparts.
No female has ever lived or will ever be born who can punch like Vovchanchyn, dunk like Jordan, manhandle people like Coleman, etc.
But there are many females in say gymnastics who move with a grace and elegance that is mesmerizing and that no man can match.
Celebrating diversity means recognizing that there ARE differences and always will be.

lol ok guys.. take what she said with a grain of salt. I was fighting back in the day when they still tried to call our real fights cat fights.. give the females some respect and understand the point that she is trying to make. Just because we are female doesn't necessarily mean we can't fight. As a matter of fact I have trained plenty of males who assumed because they were male their chromosome composition automatically meant they knew how to fight.
