21-7-1 (2), coming off a split decision victory over Melvin Guillard. 3-1 in his last four bouts.
14-6, coming off a TKO victory of George Sotiropoulos. 2-2 in his last four bouts.
Both men have excellent boxing, and are coming off wins. I say this should be the fight to make next, headlining/co-maining a future Fuel/FX card. |

Varner takes it by aggression, ross tends to back away and counter from an aggressive fighter, aint gunna happen against jamie. Huge fan of ross tho

I'm ready for it. I think Varner takes it, but Ross has power. The stand-up exchanges will be worth watching. |

Solid match-matching. Dammit though, like both gents. Be worth it for possible awesome fight. I think Ross's future is at 145 imho, but after GSot, he said he's staying. |

I'm not saying it's going to happen for sure, but Varner could put together a nice string and put himself in a real good place. When he beat Guillard, that put me over the edge to think things are possible. Guillard should have beaten him. "Should" being the magic word, because Varner is the power punching, wrestling type, that Guillard will usually beat and not get rnc'ed by. |

Hell, I had Varner winning the Guillard fight! Stronger wrestler, better cardio, and knows his timing. He had Guillard stiffled at times. I just wanna see two boxers go at it, and this seems like the next logical match to make. |
