Not only is he one of the real talents to emerge from the TUF series and a man who comes to bring war to his opponents, but he is also a warrior outside the cage. Mr Brown donated one year of hosting services for a website being built to highlight the gang rape of a 15 year old girl and its subsequent cover up in Stubbensville Ohio. Please like his FB, follow on twitter and know that the next time The Immortal Matt Brown in the octagon, that man in the cage has a righteous heart.

The Immortal one has always been a favorite fighter of mine to watch. He never phones it in, always brings it in the cage, and by many accounts, is a great guy to hang out with. I hope his efforts with the website brings about swift justice for all concerned. |

When he was on TUF I loathed him. I don't know why, I just wanted him to lose. But he has won me over as a fan over his last 3-4 fights. TTT. |

Kind of weird... I went to a small regional show in the same town as that rape, and Matt was on the card. I video taped the entire event and put it on youtube, except for Matt's fight as it was too long and I couldn't get the compression right to limit the size enough to upload it (Yes, noob here...) Anyways, I came on here to help get word out of the show before it happened as I had a couple friends on the card, and I mentioned about the local paper and the events promoter saying that this was Matt's last fight before going to the UFC. Matt came on here and seemed upset with me for saying that and mentioned something to the effect that he never heard anything about any UFC offer. Unfortunately he lost that fight, but messaged my youtube account several times to get his fight posted so he could see what went wrong. Never did get that damn fight uploaded, and he ended up going to the UFC anyways. Not really sure why the fuck I said all that... but anyways, that rape case is a fucking trainwreck. I work with several people that live in that town, and a couple that know the defendants personally, including one relative. The shit I've heard from them disgusts me, I'm glad the national media finally picked this story up. Can't believe it's taken this long and some hackers to get people to care. |
