Caught_clean - I am all for TRT, its 2013 we have the medicine to make us stronger, and healthier. That said it can be easily abused.Fighters should be able to use meth with your reasoning. Why not bath salts? Now that would be a fight; Paul Harris chewing some guys face off.

Well YEA UG! Lets do another TRT thread to shit on the users, BTW WTF IS Page and all the rest BTW? Let's also ignore that one fighter after another is coming forward saying 80 percent of the UFC roster is on 'the real juice' (the last one being Stun Gun) and forget about all the fighters that got popped too for using the good shit! The UG LMFAO |

irishrottie -GableGrip - TRT puts your testosterone at a normal level of a young man. It doesn't increase it 10X like taking steroids or testosterone do. True, but we're told time and again BY FIGHTERS that MOST fighters are abusing much stronger shit (see my post above). Random testing across the board is the only solution to the issue. I'd argue for a max TE ratio of 3.5:1 as well max at any point (just to cover some 'natural" freaks, 3.5 is plenty). Ignorant as fuck to single out TRT users and more so as it's legal. |

willthiswork -Nate 'Rock' Quarry - TRT IS testosterone. Hence, the first T. Testosterone IS a steroid. There are many doctors who now call "getting old" an illness and are working to treat it as such |

"Fighters say that most fighters are using" isn't a valid argument. It's someone guessing how many fighters are using with no real evidence to back it up. Stop being so big of a dick-rider that you're willing to defend guys who are cheating in a combat sport. This isn't baseball. This is a sport where you can potentially kill your opponent. Cheating should not be tolerated. I don't care if a fighter guesses that ALL fighters are using. There is no excuse. As far as TRT goes, it's legal but it's a steroid. If you take enough it, you're testosterone levels will rise above the accepted range, and that's cheating.

HTF do you know what they can prove if they were a DA? WTF are you talking about in all here? Did you sleep last night? |

Snake28 -DonFreedomFrye -Meaning if u only take what u r supposed to it will only make ur levels normal.GableGrip - TRT puts your testosterone at a normal level of a young man. It doesn't increase it 10X like taking steroids or testosterone do. Reread my comment and his quote. |

yellow's Overseer -That's flawed logic. In your 30's your testosterone naturally decreases. You take trt to get your testosterone to a higher lever when you were younger. You should've left it at that. You can't say it doesn't bring your testosterone to above natural levels because it obviously does. If you're 35 you don't naturally have the testosterone of a 23 year old. Taking a substance to get it there means you are more above natural levels for your age. Logic...how does it work?GableGrip - TRT puts your testosterone at a normal level of a young man. It doesn't increase it 10X like taking steroids or testosterone do.Shut up, you logic user.

GableGrip - TRT puts your testosterone at a normal level of a young man. It doesn't increase it 10X like taking steroids or testosterone do.So, Henderson et al are trying to find a normal level.......which is their level without their legal steroids. It's cheating by any other name.

Beggsie - If your testosterone levels are lowering naturally, shouldn't that be the time you should be retiring? You could. You could also retire when you tear a muscle or blow out your knee or whatever...or you could treat the problem medically and legally. |

My point is that you said "It doesn't increase it 10X like taking steroids or testosterone do" when everyone who undergoes TRT uses the anabolic steroid, synthetic testosterone. Do you not understand how completely clueless that comment is? |
