But why else would someone google "Lloyd Irvin rape" other than looking for info on one of the rape cases? I mean, sure, they can advertise these classes and get people to google that looking for the classes, but how quickly does he expect to take over the Google rankings?

And if someone wants to make a page making fun of Irvin...just 'cause you can't have lloydirvinrape.com there's still plenty of possibilities.

It's pretty crazy if he's looking to target this as a niche market now. Those kids really fucked him hard, if so...no pun intended.

Lloyd's sure to come out with a statement about how abhorred he was by everyone's actions on that night ~20 years ago and only willing to join in because he was scared or overly impressionable, and wants to atone for it, etc.

His BJJ is good but during a home invasion both he and Brandon Vera did nothing but like it.

Which means BJJ wont save you from really bad guys with malicious intent and weapons.

No matter how many triangles you've thrown in competition.

BJJ is great self defense but I'm tired of people acting like it makes you a bad ass who could rule any prison yard or walk through any favela at night.

It's a great tool but your feet are still better for running when faced with a group of guys who want to hurt you.

Jack Reacher is not real.

Now if a group of guys want to rape you?

As of this moment, LI is promoting his rape "prevention" seminars via the website, www.lloydirvinrape.com In other words, he is attempting to capitalize on a tragic situation in a truly tasteless fashion.

Perhaps but if you read the article it indicates that he's been advertising his rape (prevention) seminars heavily lately as well...

Exactly what I was thinking. He's probably going to use that web address to advertise those seminars . . . not sure this is newsworthy.

This. Also the posts about the google hits coming up as that page is also correct.

He won't make a statement and he's just going to ignore it until it goes away. The only people up in arms about this have some sort of tie to the BJJ or MMA already. The man that is always talking and selling himself not talking; speaks volumes. If he releases a statement no matter what it is; it will draw media attention to the situation. He doesn't want to bring anyone that would be a potential customer to gain wind of this before joining his ranks. Phone Post
