Does BJM make up his own rules ? I have never heard of a rule that says that a fighters fingers have to be closed . It seems like BJM likes to talk a lot just to draw attention to himself .I've heard him say a lot of weird stuff over the years that didn't make sense . |

He is the ref, he is in charge of the fight. If you're doing something that is in a gray area and could lead to fouls, they're going to call you on it.

So it is a rule now ? They can use closed gloves now, because BJM says its a rule while hes in charge ? Its just weird how a ref tells fighters how to fight. It wasnt like he was poking him in the eyes . His arm was extended as was his fingers . |

My question is why does anyone guage distance with their fingers out anyway? What good does it do except hopefully "accidentally" poke your opponent in the eye? If it's not illegal, it should be.

If you want to open palm strike somebody, you should be able to. You shouldnt have to actually have your hands closed at all times, that's retarded, and this is the first fight I have ever seen it mentioned. There is an obvious difference between trying to eye poke, and having your hands open for other reasons. |
