Today is my 10th day sober and feeling pretty good about it. This is by far the longest I've gone without a drink for several years. I'm a cheap drunk so I'm not saving that much money but it's enough it's noticeable. I've definitely got more energy and am considerably more productive. Eating dinner at a decent hour is pretty nice too. |

Still in. Not a drop touched of booze touched. Missing out on some epic nights out though. Enjoy having more energy and productive weekends though.

12th day of no alcohol of any sort. I haven't had any close encounters like last week since the whole shots incident. Feeling great. I don't see my self drinking anytime soon, nor do I have the desire to. Being that I did this for nearly 2 months, makes me realize that I can go longer. So, with that being said.....STILL IN! |

Monday check in chaps, who is still on the wagon. I am still dry. Getting easier now, have no interest in beer for the rest of this month and am thinking I may push through to the end of February too. |

I usually only drink 2-3 times a year. Oktoberfest and a yearly Christmas party. Sometimes on New Years. Sometimes on my Birthday, but not every year.
But yeah, I'll not drink at all this month :P. |

Still in. Havent even been tempted. Its weird, from boozing heavy at least twice a week I thought i would miss it more. Liking being fresh 7 days a week and have a couple hundred extra quid more in my bank account this month |

When i am hanging i will put away about 2000 calories worth of junk in one sitting. Standard hangover cure: - one large pepperoni pizza - one slice of cheesecake - lucozade - 500ml coke - bottle of water |

Big EP still in this bitch! Another close encounter last night at the strip club. Stripper buys me and her a shot at the bar and NO LIE, all I kept thinking was, "Fuck, I will have to confess to the OG about this shit." I managed to get her to take hers first and while I am chatting with her, I slowly push the shot away, thankfully she doesn't notice. The water in a rocks glass thing that I do has worked wonders. I'm getting a lot of compliments after I tell bartenders or waitresses that I am DD'ing for my buddy, who does drink pretty heavily when we go out. For those of us still in for January, CHEERS (water) to you! |

Still on it brother. Raised £101 for cancer research. I've been craving sweets as well. Had 2 chocolate bars today and been drinking a lot more tea/coffee. Thibk that could be the cold weather though.

I quit drinking last year for like 12 weeks. To be honest once I got to the 2-3 week mark I didn't really miss the alcohol at all. But I really missed the social aspect of going to a bar and bullshitting and hanging out. So I started drinking again. Sure I suppose I could goto a bar and drink pop but we all know that is easier said than done and hanging out with drunks when your sober just sucks. Word to the wise make sure you have something else to occupy your time if you want to quit drinking, I will join you guys in Late March and most of April though. I always quit drinking for about 4 weeks at that time of year as I am usually really busy and really to focus on work and not getting drunk. Hats off to all that have quit. It's a lot easier said than done. |
