Fought at IFC 2 in Amarillo. I'm in the blue. Busted his nose open with my first flurry but he managed to take me down and stay in dominant position for most of the fight. He got my back in the 3rd and stretched me out. Ref stopped it for unanswered blows. I was blocking but couldn't improve my position. Oh well I still had fun and found out I can go past the 1st round (this was the first time). I'll try to get the crappy video I have up soon. Ya there was blood every where. He was going for the rear naked right before the 3rd picture and it was dripping in my ear. Made the mat really slippery too. Good thing I'm not squeamish. |

No they made me take them out for the fight. In Oklahoma they make me tape them up. |

Thanks again everyone. I'll be looking to make some improvements in my takedown defense as well as my ground game. I think had I been able to get to a better position or capitalize on the couple that I had I could have won this fight easily. I look forward to the next one and I'll definitely keep you guys updated. |
