Deryck Ripley - Stoked about this card!Me too. I am pulling for the KC guys in this one. Krause has been looking good here lately. Aaron Ely always comes to fight and his move to 125 was great, at least I think. He always has a ton of intensity, in and out of the cage. Just like Scott Cuthbert said, there isn't a better 125lb matchup outside of the UFC, than Ortiz v. Ely. I also am waiting to see how Marques Jackson does. I have seen him fight a couple times at UBCB, and he has looked pretty solid.

Michael Waverek handed the local favorite Dusty Spaulding the first loss of his amateur career. Waverek submitted Spaulding via Triangle Choke at 2:04 of Round 2. |

The main event of the amateur card was a big local rivalry between Marques Jackson and Trey Johnson, who both entered the fight with identical 6-2 amateur records. Trey Johnson stopped Marques Jackson via TKO (Strikes) at 0:57 of Round 3. |

In the first pro fight of the night at RFA 6, Cody Peterson submitted Tyler Stokes via armbar at 2:06 of Round 2! The televised AXS TV portion will start in about 5 minutes with Bobby Cooper vs. Nick Compton. Enjoy the fights! |

Krause won a decision. Larson and cochrane by decision also. Good night of fights. All pretty close.
