Barry_BondsMVP - HBO and ESPN, usually rivals in areas such as sports documentaries, are teaming up on boxing. Through a new deal, ESPN will re-air HBO's behind-the-scenes 24/7 series before fights and ESPN news shows will get greater pre-fight access to information about HBO pay-per-view fights. And the ESPN3 digital service will now carry live weigh-ins and press conferences for HBO fights. ESPN Deportes will also get additional access to programming related to HBO fights. The deal includes new cross-promotion between boxing on HBO and ESPN platforms.
Very interesting. You certainly are the man in the know..........a vote up for bringing me some stimulating knowledge. It is nice to see some team work for the betterment of the sport, instead of all the constant butting of heads which continually holds the sport back. I think those involved at all levels are realizing they have to step it up and make some changes now that they are not the only kid on the block anymore.

GayGuard, What I would like to see is farfetched, but Golovkin v Andre Ward or for excitement Golovkin v Chavez Jr Announced would be the upcoming test for Demetrius Andrade (local bias) or Mayweather v Guerrero. |

so is that saying Arum wants no tune up fight for Marquez as well? I don't like this. Would really like Marquez to take his supposed fight and Bradley/Pacquiao 2 for a tune up as far as Manny goes. Any takers? |

don't really want to make bs predictions. but I would have to imagine once some contracts expire and people view the money and availabilty to make fights from other promotions (50/golden boy/Dibella), it would be nice to see some key switches and more fights get made, per ususal Bob Arum you would blacklist yourself from a TopRank fight tho lol |

I didn't mind Pavlik, was looking forward to the Ward fight. It will be interesting to see who Ward faces now when he's ready. off to Kovalev v Campillo! I'm bout to play Barry Bonds number in roulette and make a KILLIN!! |
