He talks about knocking people out but he's simply not able. He talks about being robbed against Wand when Wanderlei finished him TWICE in the same fight prompting Bisping to ask his corner where he was both times. He's disrespectful, spits on opponents, uses illegal tactics and is an all around twat.

Maybe it stems from fans being sick to death of him being forced down our throats by the UFC as a contender, when it has been established he clearly isn't.  For anyone not paying attention, this was Bisping's SECOND no. 1 contender fight in less than 12 months!  Yes, 2 of his last 3 fights were to try and get him in a title fight.  That is ridiculous!  They've been trying so hard to make him into something he is not and we've seen the same routine for years (fights against low ranked guys to establish a win streak then a top 10 guy).  Even worse, his own ego has grown thanks to the UFC's coddling of him.  He truly thinks he is better than he is.

And it's now no longer debatable...many of us have been saying for years that Bisping was a tool to build up the British market. We dealt with insults, troll accusations, etc.

Now it's pretty self-evident that Hardy and Bisping are tools for the British market based on a mouth and a haircut. Hopefully Zuffa learns their lesson and markets the British fighters that deserve it. Based on merit, not mouth and haircut.

Bisping was forced into that role because nobody liked him. He used to say in interviews he couldn't understand why everyone hated him.

So stop with pretending this was his plan. he had no choice. He couldn't hide his real personality, people quickly caught on, and he's been one of the most hated fighters in the org ever since. He had two choices. 1. quit, or 2. pretend to like it. He has the personality of a head of lettuce, so changing clearly wasn't possible.

I don't completely blame him. some of it I'm sure stemmed from him getting a false sense of worth because the UFC tried like hell to hand him a belt. he's just not nearly good enough. They fed him second rate fighters over and over inflating his record, but once you get towards the top, the mid level fighters get exposed. over and over and over again. And that's 'the count'

He is soooo caught up in his own hype that he lost touch with reality. He should have demanded better opponents early in his career instead of accepting the steady diet of mid-tier fighters fed to him by Zuffa.

We all know why it was done, it's just too bad Mikey loved the money more than his own integrity, or he would have said something about it and possibly saved himself the embarrassment of everyone else seeing what he himself refused to...or couldn't...see: He's just not good enough to hold a UFC title.

He's playing an intentional, purposeful, planned out persona. He's fake. He's a very good fighter; no denying that, but he's a manufactured personality.
