Hopefully this creates more publicity for Alcantara and they begin to take notice of him. He's a very good fighter, top 10 talent. Amazing striking and bjj.

It would be a bad precedent to punish someone for saying they can't continue, even if you suspect they're faking. The last thing the sport needs is fighters feeling like they have to keep going when they can't, like Cole Miller on TUF 5 trying to continue with a concussion because he didn't feel like he could say "I'm dizzy and I can't see straight." It's also worth pointing out that the fighter himself didn't claim that he was hit in the back of the head. That was the determination of the referee. |

Yeah he was pretty beat up, I don't think he was all there for him to realize that most of the shots were legal.

through google translate: Even with cervical collar, BTT fighter already thinking next challenge UFC The night of Peter Noble (pictured), the Brazilian Top Team fighter (BTT), was long from Saturday to Sunday. After receiving blows on the back of the neck illegal in the duel against Yuri Marajó, Peter was sent to the Hospital Santa Catarina, where he remained under observation until 4 am Sunday. Peter arrived at around 5am the hotel where athletes are staying longer with a cervical collar to protect your neck. Peter Noble tried to explain what happened, despite not remembering every moment. "What I remember is that I was in a position beneath the Yuri. He hit me several blows to the back of the head until he gave me a blackout. Need not know if picked up at the nape and how many blows were not, but if the referee stopped is because he saw something wrong. Today MMA is a sport considered to have rules, then we have to respect. But when I woke up I thought I'd lost the fight knocked out. know that I only had been declared in a fight without result hospital, by my staff, "he said. Aware that had no influence on the result, after the interruption of the fight was a decision of the referee and doctors, Pedrinho already thinking in returning to the Octagon. And a new fight opponent Saturday is not discarded. "I met Yuri in the hotel lobby when I came back from the hospital. He came to apologize and reinforced that never had any intention of hitting me illegally. Immediately I told him he need not worry, because I know he is a person full like me. Accidents happen and this time the victim was me. We are two fighters with similar characteristics, that fight forward. soon I return to the Octagon. UFC Should a cop-piece insists would do everything to make the show for the public "said Noble. Now Peter Noble awaits a new medical assessment to find out exactly how long he will have to stay in recovery. This definition will come in a week when he will be reevaluated. The BTT chief Murilo Bustamante, was keen to show their support for the fighter. "Pedro is one of the warriors who have more athletes here at the academy.'ve Seen this guy go perrengues many other struggles, giving a comeback and emerge victorious. At the Yuri fighting a similar case happened when he took a American and an incredible race got rid of the position and moved on. Many would have beaten there. thank God all the tests done at the hospital did not show any trauma or fractures and severe head and cervical spine, although he still have signs and symptoms injury. now have to cherish for his recovery, which is the most important, "said Murillo. Personally, I have a hard time believing anyone would fake acting like that. I've never seen that in my life. I'm not sure he was faking, but of course I don't know. You can't always tell with the cameras exactly how bad a guy is hurt from a strike. |

Does this have anything to do with DFW calling him an award winning actor on Twitter?

Avenged MOFO - Does this have anything to do with DFW calling him an award winning actor on Twitter?Yes. Alcantara had Pedro's back and he hit him in the side of the head with some punches and a good elbow, Nombre then started complaining about shots to the back of the head even though none occured. Dan M stopped the fight and Pedro was screaming in pain, crying and rubbing the back of his head. He layed on the floor for a while and the fight was declared a NC due to accidental strikes to the back of the head, even though there wasn't any. Pedro was carried out of the cage by his cornermen, whailing in pain with tears streaming down his face. This prompted Dana to make the joke on Twitter. However, apparently there is a lot more to this story, what I just described is exactly what everyone saw last night but now it appears there are some new details.

I wouldn't be surprised if they got a hospital to forge records, he looked fine until he rubbed the back of his head. He really looked like he was gaming the system. If he really is injured, he needs to be cut, he didn't get hit with enough damage that he should have been in such dire straits and needs to pursue another career, lest he be killed in the octagon when he gets hit proper. |

Hopefully they give this guy his walking papers and give Alcantara his win.

LOL @ Peter Noble...sounds like a porn star. It's too bad he isn't going to stick around, cause that would be a classic moniker. His "act" sure looked lame while I was watching it, but if he really went to the hospital, I guess you have to give him the benefit of the doubt somewhat. Still, even if he wasn't faking, he appears too fragile for the big leagues. |
