I feel Bellator would be better off to have all tournament fights in each division on the same card, makes it easier for people to follow each tournament if the fights are on the same card as opposed to having 3 on 1 event and then 1 a week later. Also all tournament bouts should be televised so people can follow the fighters though the tournament. I understand they have to showcase their champs but they should have done that all on one card at the start as having Askren headline is a bad idea.

liquidrob Member Since: 9/9/02 Posts: 8983	The LW tournament will all be on one card I think 2 and 2 is also fine and what they should have done here so they all get televised, having them on the undercard isnt a great idea if thats what they're selling to the public which is what Bellator is about You have ignored this user.

Nexuscrawlers Member Since: 10/23/09 Posts: 8047	i think this time they had to split the tournaments because they were trying to get all the title fights in the first few cards. in past seasons of bellator it was usually all 4 opening round fights on the same main card. i imagine they will go back to that formula in the future. Putting tournament fights online instead of on tv is very disrespectful to those fighters and imo is a stupid move.

They could have done one LHW fight last week, the following three LHW fights this week with a title fight then next week all 4 WW, all 4 LW ect and then in the next month when you only have two semi fights on each card you put the Dantas and Storm title fights to fill out those cards.

They are basically saying only Mo and Babalu and Lima and saunders are important in these two tournaments.

EcKy is correct, they should have first 4 opening round fights in one event and show them all..the way it is now, having one light heavy fight a week after the other ones, and only airing 2 ltwt tourny fights is confusing as hell..i know the other 2 tourny fights are on spike.com but not too many will tune into that to watch them..

ive always been confused about the way bellator runs their tournaments..

Should I bring a pillow? idk, i dont think he is THAT boring. i mean, he maintains top control a lot, but he is usually very active with sweeps and lots of transitions. it can be very interesting to watch, but it isnt for everyone. It depends on if you can appreciate dominant positions using uncanny wrestling based transitions. It's also interesting to see if another very good martial artist who has been training for months with the sole intent to stop Askrens game can pull it off. You have ignored this user.
