Warrenpeace - The guy has fought nobodies. Hell, Maldonado almost wrecked him in their fight.Dude, You maybe right that Glover is a little overhyped but Rampage will derail nobodies train anymore. You still think the Rampage of old is going to enter that cage. Not going to happen. Glover will get him down. Rampage wont get able to get put and punishment will follow. Will be a less exciting fight then most people think. Decision or late TKO groundstrikes Glover most likely in my opinion. Rampage does not have hunger anymore and that is a big problem for a guy who dislikes training so much. You got to be realistic about these things.

I'm thinking glover has the skills for ppl to be on his hype train... but I'm also thinking rampage will be hungry to go out on a big win and is healthy and injury free atm so will be a barn burner..

Gotta love how many people on here are totally ignoring the facts about both Rampage and Glover, their respective fight histories and proven/unproven abilities in favor of their anger for the way Rampage has been acting lately. What because hes a dbag sometimes that means hes going to for sure lose? To Glover who couldn't even put down a guy who took a fight on short notice (and dropped him twice to boot?) This is just as bad as last month for how mad everyone is at Cain for his "Brown Pride" tat and saying he had zero chance against JDS in their rematch when clearly his only loss was a flash KO (while he was injured.) Everyone ignored the fact that every other fight in Cain's career looked nothing like his first fight with JDS. People on here are ridiculous. |

Glover actually has good wrestling and ground game, as well as excellent fists. He should use his whole game here ala Rashad and Jones. If he does he should win. Standing and trading with Rampage is always a sketchy idea, even if Glover is a killer. |

Rampage has fought and beat some great fighters. Also lost to some and one ok (Bader) fighter in recent Time. Glover has not been tested by guys of this stature , we really don't know how his wrestling skill is vs a good wrestler. We really don't know how his striking is vs a great striker. We don't know much except he has won his last fights with devastating fashion. But those were against journey men not contenders. This is a huge step up in competition for him. Rampage has fought Evans, Jones , Machida, Bader , Chuck , Forrest , wand , Jardine , Hendo, Only two of those guys were not champions. He has more fights vs better competition , he should not be looked over. Yes he has not destroyed everyone lately , but then again once you get to the top it's very hard to do that. Guys challenging are killers too. That's why when AS and JBJ and Chuck (before rampage ) were doing it that way they were and are considered greats. Glover has a lot to prove , it's his first step into the top of the division. Rampage has already proven it , and just needs to show he can still win. I hope it's an exciting fight.

OneGloveJimmerson - There are a lot more ridiculous hype trains than Glover's. The reality is, the man has a habit of messing people up in every fight he participates in. Thats whats ridiculous, who cares if he loses to rampage theres no shame in that. There will be plenty of other people's faces for him to rearrange in exciting fashion.You. Good post.

If you never watched Pride, then obviously you won't have an appreciation for the fights Rampage has put on...saying that, I 'm just not impressed with Glover's last outing... |

To be fair to glover he did have a lot of big names turn down fights with him... prob because he has no name value yet but that not stopping people moaning about how andy is scared of weidman so we should be blaming the fact that glover has no big name wins on the big names that refused to fight him and not holding it against glover... I guess Later we will see once and for all if its fake or justified hype... no doubt in the haters eyes he cant win.... i expect if he loses to see hundreds of "i told you so" posts and if he wins to hear "rampage is past it anybody could beat him" etc. Lets face it the guy shows promise and has handed out some nasty beatings... time to see if rampage is going to be one of them... i hope so!
