Yeah, but its still weird for the guys not to say anything when any of the fighters tries something big.

I like Rogan, Goldie is Goldie but 2 out of this world techs and no mention that they happened = the weird.

pettis is a beast man. If he continues to improve his wrestling, he's going to be extremely hard to beat. His striking is off the charts

OK, rewatched the fight. Goldberg does eventually mention the cartwheel kick but it's a little later on. When he lands the knee off the cage Goldberg says "And look at that. So entertaining"

incredible fighter and athlete

I'm surprised that more fighters don't make use of the cage as he has, maybe they just can't

hmm, missed that myself then, still thought it woulda been a bigger deal considering how big a deal the first cage kick was and to do it again...yeah..whatever though i guess.

The knee was sick but just his overall performance was even more impressive imo

His and Grants where two of the most impressive performances I've seen in awhile both just walked through very tough opponents

Only a few top ranked fighters still evolving Pettis and Grant are two

^ grant too was kick ass, agreed. Grant was primarily a solid grappler but had a KO with bows after training in Thailand, nice.

When you've been lookin for that next Anderson,it's refreshing to see a fighter like Pettis.

DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FRIM COWBOY

the reason that fight ended with the quickness was the fact that two very talented mma strikers went straight at each other not tentative and the equation simplified itself. Phone Post

I agree with this, but you have to add that Pettis was clearly way ahead of Cowboy. That's not a discredit to Cowboy as much as it is a credit to Pettis, who may be a top P4P fighter.

Agree with wiggum, it wasnt as if both of them were trading waiting for the first guy to connect. Pettis had Cowboy from the bell.

Yea Pettis really had his way with him. The only significant strike Cerrone landed was the knee during the cartwheel kick. When you are the first to stop a tough bastard like Cowboy on strikes, you know you are a bad man.

How would Pettis vs Nate go? Pettis isnt as big and strong as Bendo and doesnt have the wrestling but has the most diverse striking arsenal maybe only 2nd to Anderson or Jones now. Nate wouldnt have to worry about the tds too much, this would also be a great fight but Pettis has earned the shot so not happening soon but would like to somewhere down the road.
