ITs time to make the cage smaller. when the 125 twerps fight its the worst. Their fights can be so much better in a smaller cage...and every other weightclasses fights in general. I believe the wec had a smaller cage. |

Don't they use smaller cages on fx and fuel fights? I think a smaller cage is cool. Less running. No matter what weight class.

waht about a shrinking cage a system of pullies could achieve that easily i'll defer specifics to shane carwin as the resident engineer you start a fight in the regular ufc cage, as the fight progresses the cage gets smaller and smaller, until tis the size of a phonebooth somebody is getting finished for sure |

Smaller cage could have it’s own problems too. You could see more wall n stall. I admit it is already happening right now to some extent but smaller cage could lead to more wall n stall for heavier fightes.

Did you guys like the retarded “stop don’t move/move the fight to the center’ of Pride? Don’t get me wrong, I use to love Pride but that was one part of Pride that I did not like. Imagine this-you lock up a submission and your opponent rolls out towards the rope. Do you restart the fight in the center with sub locked in? That’s just dumb.

That would be really funny is they had 2 cages next to each other. One like it is now and one half the size with 4 feet fences and a midget ref and midget ring girls for the flyweights.

There are so few fighters with anything resembling "good" footwork that shrinking the cage can only improve the fights. |

No. Fighters rolling out of the ring when locked in a sub are WAY dumber. Plus cages allow fighters to get back up to feet. There are going to be a lot more lay n pray with Rings. And there were a lot of them in Pride. We tend to romanticize the past. There are plenty of good memories from Pride but there are also lots of uneventful fights that we have forgotten |
