He started MMA training with Rico Chiperelli back in the day and moved on and never looked back giving him no credit and moved onto superstatus in the UFC walking over anyone in his path whether it was divorcing his wife, building Team Couture with that other chick then leaving her...ect ect...now he screws the company that built his name and has done EVERYTHING for him and signed with the competition. Yes its a free country and business is business but this guy has no memory... |

So your logic is that if someone helps you in any way you've got to stick by them and never better yourself or seek other experiences or opportunity in any way?
Handy was an independant contractor, he made the UFC a lot more dollars than they made him. He is free to pursue whatever career choices he wants IMO, they don't owe eachother anything. |

He does seem like a douche. He has not hesitated fucking over family, friends, acquaintances repeatedly for his own selfish reasons.

Loyalty to a former employer seems a little misplaced. If you worked for Ford and retired and were no longer drawing a paycheck would you turn down an offer from GM? And would Ford fire you when you no longer useful to them? |

Actually when the UFC pulled a very unexpected move and released the fighter pay for once, it turned out Couture was full of shit, the UFC had paid him alot, and he was really embarassed... eventually returning to them |

But wait, don't put me on the side against Couture lol I think he has the right to do, and should do whatever the fuck he wants. Just pointing out something a lot of ppl probably forget. I only know him from fights so Couture is an all time favorite, but I've read alot from reporters or sites who've found him to be a dick. Two of my friends also got snubbed by him, but again all this is hearesay and moot He worked for the UFC, he's now getting better offers elsewhere... more power to him, regardless of your personal opinion on the Natural |

Like I said in the other thread:
Ryan sure is lucky he "won" his fight against Noons. If he hadn't, it would have been a very long road into the UFC, thanks to Papa Randy. |

Good for him. Now are companies loyal to their employees? :) They will lay employees off at any time, executives will pay themselves a bigger bonus and go on their merry way. Oh and the CEO will get a ever fatter paycheck regardless of performance. |

I'd say randy is getting in good with other promotions to set Ryan up with different opportunities if things don't work out with ufc. Just my opinion
