Who would be next in line? Is there anyone out there in the top of the HW division on a good win streak(more than 2 wins in a row)? The only guys that come to mind are Struve(4 fight win streak) and Hunt(3 fight win streak). That's besides Cormier who won't fight Cain. Who would you want to see fight for the HW title if Alistair loses? |

That is a damn good question. I would say Roy Nelson has a good win streak going for him. Dunno if he is tied up, what about Winner big Nog and Werdum? I am pretty sure they are fighting. I almost remember hearing Dana say that Werdum would get a shot with a win over Nog. |

It will probably be the Hunt vs Struve winner.

Not as good (a win streak) as Struve or Hunt right now. Although Werduum is the next best option it will be a while before he can fight for a title with tuf and Nog.

Werdum has also just won two since losing to Overeem but I think you are correct about Dana's comment. I think I heard him say that on some media scrum. |

Yeah I remember something about Werdum being next if he wins. I don't see him, Hunt or Struve beating Cain any time soon though.

If werdum bests big nog convincingly I'd have to say he's the most deserving.

This is completely hypothetical since it's not possible.

I like Struve a lot, he has always exciting fights, but I don't consider him a top contender. Same for Hunt. Only Cormier or Werdum makes sense. |

I wish it will be Hunt if it comes down to those three for I find him the most entertaining although Struve has proven to be much of an entertainer himself with his agressive submissions. |

It would also be crazy to see somebody like Struve get the shot. Dude has some losses but he pretty much just shuts his mouth and gets back in the gym and starts putting W's unders his name. I think that guy can be a force if he keeps doing what he does. Hunt does the same. He went from UFC trying to cut him to making a comeback. Pretty much there are a few options if Overeem gets taken out. UFC HW division is getting good. When does Carwin come back? Hopefully he comes back meaner and nastier then he was before |

Pat Giles - This is completely hypothetical since it's not possible. Well anything can happen in the cage but the chances of Overeem losing are very slim as Bigfoot is kind of being thrown to the wolves, but he has huge fists, some stand up skills and blackbelt jiu jitsu |

Guys Werduum is getting a title shot with a win regardless of what happens with Reem. The problem is he isn't fighting until July, and Cain probably wants to fight before September.

Struve needs to improve on his stand up in my opinion since most of his losses are by knockout. I don't know when Carwin is back but he has had alot of issues with his back I believe. Hope to see him again better then ever though, wish him a good recovery. |

I would assume Reems fight was set on this time to match exactly for Cains return. Werdum has just won two since losing to Reem while Reem hasn't lost since 2007 and is on ca 8 fight win streak. I think it depends on how Reem looks Saturday night. He can probably get that title shot by looking good on Saturday. |

DiazsBongWater - Josh motherfuckin Barnett I so hope he goes to the UFC! I'd love to see him against Frank Mir or Overeem as the three of them are in my opinion the arrogant, overly confident type while remaining polite and not getting very emotional. Catch vs jitz, Barnett vs Mir. Make it happen ufc! (After Mir fights Cormier of course). |

I think Dana would sell some excuse for a immediate rematch with JDS.

innibinni -Even if Reem looks horrible and wins he will get the title shot. Not instead of Werdum, just before him. The UFC got unlucky that Browne and Miocic both lost, the contenders at heavyweight are pretty thin.OnlyTheStrongSurvive - Guys Werduum is getting a title shot with a win regardless of what happens with Reem.
