Utah get me two -
DKielbasa -

MELO!  We have all the makings of a championship team.

Great scores- Melo JR n Amare

Quick young guards - felton and Shump

Guys who have experience and have been there. Kidd, Wallace Thomas Camby

The big guy down low with a blue collar mentality who does not need the accolades-  Chandler

3 point specialists  Novak and a couple others who can get hot

We got it all, we are gonna slap the heat down in the playoffs

Holy fucking delusion, Batman!
If miami didnt sure up their perimeter defense, i would say the knicks would smack them again. Phone Post
Miami plays "poorly" during the regular season. Get used to it. the last two years they played below there talent level during the reg season and above it during the playoffs.

Defense is about effort.

Lets see if the Knicks win 2 PO games per decade before you crown them the champs. Phone Post

So you're banking your season on the lowest percentage shot in the game? Phone Post

You havent been watching us then... And shooting 40% from 3 is like shooting how much from 2?... We take the most 3s in the league and are one of the top teams in the league.. Live by the 3 die by it... Look what we are doing right now with the 3. Melo also hit 9 of them the other night and was taken out of the game with 4 minutes left. Couldve been more Phone Post

Plus.. Look what the pacers did to your team tonight.. Blew them up with the 3 after driving right down your benches throat. 42% from 3. I suggest you realize teams get that your D is lacking behind the arc. If we get novak going, thats a bad sign for you guys. Whos going to guard chandler on the pick and rolls also?... Because im pretty sure you have had no answer for that at all this year Phone Post

Did you watch tonight's game? Have you watched the defending champs play any teams other than the NYKs?

Effort is the real culprit here. When they play with PO effort for 48 minutes they can't be beat in a best of 7.

The Pacers and Knicks are too good for the heat to just play 1 quarter and get the W.

But it's ok, I remember when i thought regular season wins meant something.

Enjoy the marginal success your team is having now... Phone Post

I would say there are a few teams out there right now that as a heat fan i would be worried about playing in a 7... Pacers being one of them. You realize they are still missing their best player correct?.. The knicks have smoked you and effort wasn't the reason.. You cant tell me lebron and wade come into MSG just for a vacation (look at what kobe does in MSG).. The nets need to get some shit together vs the heat so im not too worried about them.. And the hawks have played you guys very well, not an easy beat. I would take a few west teams over the heat this year also.. Phone Post

"The Pacers (28-19) have won 13 in a row at home and two straight overall since losing three straight on the road. Indiana and the New York Knicks are the only teams in the league to beat the defending NBA champs twice this season."

"Indiana led by as much as 19 points in the third quarter, and Miami never got closer than 12 in the fourth."

Arent you a little worried that the heat just aren't as good as they should be? Coaching is poor, chemistry not great?.... And now come playoff time you are just going to turn it on and run through teams such as the bulls pacers and knicks?... Phone Post

Have you been watching the last two seasons?

The heat have consistently been the best team in the league the last 2 years.

This core has played 8 playoff series against 7 different teams and has lost only 1 series.

A few losses in the regular season means nothing at this point. These losses only mean something if the heat don't win it all. But with everything this team has shown its pointless to worrying snout these few losses. (Oh and all these teams have more losses than the heat.) Phone Post

Just watch when the pacers take you to 7... I am a realist, my team needs plenty of work but this is a shining moment in the franchise, its been awhile.. You seem to be on this bandwaggon for your precious miami heat. Just out of curiosity, where do you live?.. And where is your heat thread? ;)... Thanks for stopping by again. lol at Heat "fans" spamming a Knicks thread. If it were a Heat thread, we'd leave all three of you alone to discuss wearing all white and where you bought your brand new jerseys.

Never knew I was walking into a Heat-Pacers thread...but on that topic, game 4 was one of my all time favorite playoff games. Heat were down 2-1 with Bosh injured, lost home court advantage, everything going wrong up until the 2nd half were Lebron and Wade just gang banged that Pacers team and scored 38 straight Miami points. Everyone was asking for Lebron to have a "Cleveland" like game...and he finished with 40-18-9...outstanding. Phone Post

I was born and raised in south Florida, where do I live at the moment? China.

When was my first heat game? 1997

How many jerseys do I own? 9 ( 3 wade, 1 mourning, 2 Jason Williams, 1 haslem, 1 majerle, 1 LBJ)

I sold my car to buy 3 finals tickets in '06.

Lol at a NYKs fan calling anyone a bandwagoner. I know you think your team drafted Melo and that he's a NYK4LIFE, but the reality is that before him the Knicks were pathetic and after he got there they were still pathetic. They haven't proven anything so far (except that they can celebrate 1 FIRSTROUND playoff win in 10 years with falling confetti)

The heat has shown that this team plays much, much better in playoffs. The Knicks have shown that they play worse.

I know New Yorkers have a delusional superiority complex, I've been dealing with jets fans since I was 10 years old. But this idea that a Knick core who has done NOTHING Noteworthy together should some how be favored against a team that's has easily beat them, has been to the finals twice in two years, and has improved their roster each of those two years is absurd.

Sorry if I've unsettled your little circle jerk, I didn't realize NYers were so sensitive. I guess you guys can't handle differing opinions.

I can't wait for Rose to come back. Chicago fans are just as delusional but are half as sensitive. Phone Post

Well i say congrats, but maybe if you were back in the states and work with children like i do, you would understand why i LAUGH at "heat fans"... Take a trip to utah and tell me if u see more jazz jerseys or heat stuff lol.. Its ridiculous.. Im not trying to get into a bash, just telling you that you guys aren't up to par this year. Thats all, i am not delirious like some of the knicks fans this year. We have some obvious weaknesses, and we need to stop starting out so slow. Right now in my opinion there is no team in the east that is a lock.. I would be most worried about the bulls and the pacers over the heat though. Melo plays like a man on a mission vs you guys.. There aren't many heat fans on this board. And I'd get at least 20 VDs just for starting one. I like that the Knicks are playing better. I love NY-FL rivalries. The lack of respect the ny fans give to FL teams (no matter how many beating we give you guys, or how many failures you incur) is unlike any other fan base. NYers are a special breed. Phone Post
