I'm a Filipino.  We are Asian/Pacific Islanders by geography, because we are located in Southeast Asia, and we are an archipelago in the Pacific Ocean.  We are racially intermingled with the Spanish because they colonized the islands for 300 years.

Don't be fooled 98% of Filipinos you meet have less than 1% Spanish blood, the few actual Spanish looking Filipinos I've met simply call thenselves Filipinos. Most Filipino Americans are not Spanish at all. Lol at some Filipino that looks like he Lived in a remote Amazon hill tribe his whole life trying to convince people he is half Spanish.

This is true. I'm 3/4 Filipino and 1/4 Chamorro.... I embrace my Chamorro side. I don't shun or hate my Filipino side it's just that I'm more proud to be a Chamorro.
