Hello everyone! We are excited to share three ways to take the back from the closed guard! Option one is from a failed wrist lock, option two is from a failed arm lock, and option three is from a grip break to arm drag set up! These positions are must-haves for beginners and advanced Jiu-Jitsu players alike! This video has a lot of great details, we hope you enjoy it! Good training to you all, Eric Burdo BJJ Black Belt and Head Instructor Richmond BJJ Academy Richmond, Virginia BJJ Revolution Team www.RichmondBJJ.com www.BJJRevolution.com |

I don't know... Are you sure there's no way of just doing the Berimbolo instead? Now if you had started ON the opponent's back, transitioned to the 50/50 Guard, THEN did the Berimbolo to take his back again --I'd be sold. But this way? Hmmmm. |

VTFU for a nice instructional, solid content. I saw a photo sequence from a Rickson BB do it in a similar way. |

shen - Grand Master Shen has spoken the truth. I bow down to your decades of knowledge and mastery of the Martial Arts. My apologies to all who I have offended. See you in Hell! *deletes video from YouTube and jumps off a cliff* |

gusto - WHAT KIND OF 1996 BULLSHIT IS GOING ON IN HERE Ha ha! Brilliant. Might use this to advertise my Academy. "After viewing an example of the technical instruction at the Richmond BJJ Academy, Atama Forum member Gusto proclaimed: 'WHAT KIND OF 1996 BULLSHIT IS GOING ON IN HERE???'" |
