I thought the general consencus was that Hieron was a good enough wrestler to keep this one standing. According to the odds he is a slight underdog at +115 (Woodley is -135) on my book. I was expecting a striking match with Jay knocking Tyrone out. |

ImA2TimeLoser - Jay by KO? Laughable. Really, why? Jay has power and Tyrone isn't exactly a striking threat. I realize Hieron isn't known for knocking people out but I figured against Woodley he wouldn't be afraid of throwing leather. |

Not surprised at Woodley being the favorite. I got him winning a decision. I'm sure he has the better wrestling. Gonna be takedowns and top game from him. |

Woodley is going to win in a dominant fashion but by decision. |

GableGrip - Throw some cash down on T Dub if your so sure. What the does the consensus of UG have to do with reality. I'll stick to investing my money intelligently, despite your amazing suggestion after displaying an inability to differentiate "your and you're," or complete a proper sentence. But hey, LOL at "the UG consensus!" |

Those are very close odds. I see nothing wrong there.

MahatmaPetey - Those are very close odds. I see nothing wrong there. Yeah I'm just surprised to see Woodley have the slight edge over the veteran. He hasn't had a ton of fights against big names with great wrestling. Saffiedine (sp?) showed great wrestling vs Marquardt but I think he really worked on it after his fight with Woodley. I don't know, I just felt like Hieron should be able to stuff the takedowns. If he isn't then Woodley is a wrestling monster. It will be interesting. If Woodley wins though I can't imagine it being a very exciting fight. He'll have trouble mounting any decent offense against a vet like Hieron even in top position. |

Agree with you OP, think Jay has a great chance of keeping this on the feet and winning the striking battle. |

Should be interesting fight, Heiron's wrestling looked pretty good against Askren and his boxing skills are very underrated. Living in Las Vegas, I have seen Heiron on a few occassions spar with good boxers and not get ran over.

HenryO - I think Hieron could definitely give him some problems I agree, I don't think he's going to be a comfortable mattress. It may be a little more difficult for Woodley to get a nap in before the bell. He'll prob just get some rest for 15 minutes -- just laying there. |

Frank Gallagher - I expect Woodley to win and maybe a 3rd rd stop. 3rd round stoppage by what? What in Woodley's history makes you think he is gonna hurt or submit Hieron. There is an outside chance he'll throw a strike that will put Jay to sleep, but it's highly improbable. |
