...is a Big Nog lookalike contest. This is not competitive matchmaking. Lil Nog hasn't been good since George Bush was president.

He could get lucky and catch rashad in a sub or with a nicely timed punch. His TDD looked great at first against Phil Davis so if he has continued to work wrestling could be competitive.

catgobling - after having a few flashbacks from Lyoto, Rashaad is gonna fall Rashad thought he was Mike Tyson after KO'ing Chuck, and he figured Machida was too elusive for takedowns. He'll beat Nog by fighting like Frankie Edgar. |

Pretty ridiculous to say Nog has no chance. Of course Hashad deserves to be heavily favored but Nog hits hard and has great subs, so he always has a chance.

That was when Cro Cop was the best striker in the game, Rich Franklin was a UFC champ and there were no smart phones. Jason Brillz beat him up. His shining UFC moment was beating a half broken Tito |

Hate to say it but I think OP is right. Thinking of putting £200 on a reem/rashad parlay to win one hundred |

He can surely win - he just probably won't. |

I think Rashad wins. But I don't think he is better in every aspect. Nog has better boxing, better bjj, and a better chin. And he could catch rashad for a KO or TKO I think. The deciding factors in this fight imo is speed and wrestling. Nog fights stiff and slow and is probably 5-6 years older than his listed age. Rashads speed advantage should be enough for him to be able to switch from strikes to takedowns without taking to much damage. |

Eunuchorn - Hate to say it but I think OP is right. Do it, and I hate parlays, but I'll be making that one as well. The Overeem-Silva fight is a formality. Easter Island Head is not a good fighter. |

WOW.....the Bobby Lupo predictions on this thread are TERRIBLE............... "The Overeem-Silva fight is a formality. Easter Island Head is not a good fighter." "The Only Thing Lil Nog Can Beat Rashad At is a Big Nog lookalike contest." That's almost as much shit-talk as Overeem and similar results......... So much for LupoLocks......

Why was it not competitive, when: 1. Rashad was coming off a loss, while Lil Nog was coming off a win; and 2. In back-to-back fights by Tito, Lil Nog not only finished Tito faster, but didn't damn near get submitted by Tito the way Rashad did. |

I lost an absurd amount of money on Rashad, Overeem, Parlays involving those 2, McCall and Edgar. This was my worst MMA betting night since 2006 |

Well you did not look hard enough at Evans last fight. There was no logic in the lack of TD attempts at all. The line was not favorable there was no reason to play it (i myself liked Shad by UD, but it was no play at all). Reem's only win of true significance in MMA EVER was Werdum IMO. I'm a fan of Bigfoot and I liked him at least as a 50/50 play. I said over and over no juice is helping his chin. It was another bad play. |

I thought Nog was shot coming into this fight and Rashad would be quicker standing and do some blanketing. I covered myself a little by betting that the fight goes to decision, but not enough. Bigfoot is a terrible fighter. He does nothing well. Whenever he wins, I question the depth of talent in MMA. |

so is the deal that rashad is just totally uneffective against southpaws? machida tooled him, and he looked like shit last night. what other southpaws has he fought? do southpaws neutralize his takedowns and kill his transition game? |
