Bas and CC both laying down the verbal smack on the Reem. Poor guy but deserves it. The Reem was so much more humble and intelligent in SF, what happened? |

I remember before AO left GG, Bas in every HW ranking had AO number 1, then AO left GG and then their friendship was no more

While I agree with most of what Bas said, I normally always do. However I don't agree with him not having high level strikers where he trains. He has Spong, Belfort and some other high level strikers. At GG he had high high level strikers but not many high level grapplers. Now he has high level strikers (not as many as ar GG granted) AND high high level grapplers. I think what we are seeing is a new Camp that hasn't dialed it all in yet. Rashad looked flat, Guilard looked flat and AO looked flat. I don't think the coaching is synchronized yet. It just seems like they don't know what they want to do once they step in there. That's what I'm seeing.

Reem nuthuggers are like NO OTHER. It doesn't surprise me in the least that they got their panties in such a bunch that they actually started going after Bas so bad that he ended up responding publicly. |

Elhoffo - Didn't Bas have to retire because of injury?I took it to mean he never had an injury in class, to one of his students.

3 strikes - Bas is right on his analysis, but he should keep it to himself because if he was in good terms with AO he would not be saying any of this even if it is the 'truth'. He comes off bitter towards the reem even when paying him compliments, just keep quoting CroCop since he put it so much better and without sounding like an ass.The bitter tone your read is a manifestation of your retard brain. IMO. 'Godspeed and party on'.

Well written, fair and accurate. Good stuff from Bas. Love his fight analysis and breakdowns. Although I can't stand that bully beat down nonsense!

I completely agree with Bas when it comes to the technical aspect (changes) that we've seen in Reem's game. It's pretty obvious if you look at his two fights since he left GG; he obviously dumped how he previously approached fights, for a style that would be more suited for defending takedowns. However, I think there's a more complex issue with Reem's quasi-fall-from-grace. I've been a huge Reem believer for a long time. After he popped hot for that test, I restrained from jumping on the "juicing bandwagon" and wanted to hear Reem's side of the story. Once I did, I was skeptical, but as the days went by and the photos and other Reem media slowly made its way onto the web I didn't see any significant changes that would warrant such a claim... And then came Bigfoot vs. Alistar... Not Bigfoot vs. the Reem. Not the Reem that we all saw take K1 by the balls (and handily take the championships from those other orgs). As much as I hate to say this-just because I was such a believer-I saw a completely different fighter, and I'm going to steer away from accusations because it just isn't cool. But the man I saw face Bigfoot on Saturday didn't lack technical knowhow; he lacked the aggression and confidence to make his technical knowhow matter. So the only reason I took the time to write this post is that I've been thinking about this whole ordeal for the past two days, and slowly I've begun to feel like a fool. That being said, I've come to no other conclusion (and I would recommend it for anyone else who feels as I do) but to go ahead and jump on that bandwagon and don't look back. |

Actually he trains with Tyrone Spong now but Bas still makes a strong point.
