Is there any MMA fighter/personality more well liked and respected than Bas?  I don't think so...

So everybody is just saying bas is a boss without reading what he said?

He said Alistair always comes in good shape, yeah maybe to look at, but it's obvious the guy doesn't have a gas tank.

He's pretty much looked tired coming out of the first round vs Bigfoot, and somewhat recently vs Werdum.

Then he just hypes his boys over at golden glory pretty much saying that's the reason he lost, and not because he was fighting cocky.

yeah i'm sure his new strategy when facing guys he's concerned with standing is to leave his hands down at his waist and smile at them half the time.

He definitely overlooked bigfoot.

I finding issues with the whole "he just didnt take BF seriously" thing. Im sure that's part of it but fact remains that he was still unable to do anything in the first 2 rounds. That was a lack of ability as well. Sure he started to gas and perhaps that was due to his new non-Reem regiment or not training as hard because he took BF lightly. I find it hard to believe though that after his missed title shot with JDS and the whole world doubting him due to the failed test, that he would not train hard for this, cocky as he seemed.

Against Werdum, he still showed he could get flustered and taken out of his game though Werdum kept on flopping at any chance he got. Reem still tried to take Werdum's head off. I didnt see any of those trademark hooks in the pocket vs BF. Was it feat of the td? BF didnt really even threaten them in the first few rounds.
