I've spent a liftime ignoring what I know is right and satisfying my own selfish needs. God's will has always been looking me in the face I've ignored the path I know that is right for me. I'm done with that and am ready to put my faith in God into action. |

There will be stumbling blocks and temptation...expect it...overcome them and watch the blessings unfold. |

Not sure what the path is zealot66. But I've had so many chances where I could make a good choice or an easy one I've always taken the easy one. I've had chances to make a choice between helping others and I've instead chose to help myself. I've lied, drugged and hurt others. I've always known there was a better way and I've always felt drawn to something bigger but ignored it. |

Jesus the Good Shepherd John 10:9 I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand, who is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away—and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. 13 The hired hand runs away because a hired hand does not care for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. |

God is imaginary, the path you describe has been laid out by semi-literate bronze/iron age goat herders. There are many better paths.

Describing something as "bronze age" seems to be a popular go to term for the anti-religious types to refer to anything they don't like. |

RoidsGracie - Describing something as "bronze age" seems to be a popular go to term for the anti-religious types to refer to anything they don't like.It isn't that I don't "like" things from the bronze age, more that people from those primitive times lacked the technological and conceptual understanding necessary to reach even a basic understanding of how the universe works.
