first of all I hope he's recovered 100%. Second of all I hope this doesn't affect his fighting mentality, a knock out like that im sure would've retired more then a few people and change their minds about fighting forever. And third I hope he drops down to welterweight, I know he's 6'2 but him and Hall looked like 2 different weight classes last night and thinking about it, there's waaay bigger middleweights in the ufc (Weidman, Lombard, Boetsch, etc). So for the sake of this guys career and well being I really hope he cuts to 170 for his UFC debut, because I remember reading Dana saying that all TUF 17 contestants get a UFC fight so I hope he decides to make the cut. Anyone know if he's always fought at 185? |

Thats the thing that surprised me the most of the fight that he was doing realy good standing. Before the fight i had the impression Hall would dominate him. Anyhow his fight to get into the house was very good and dropping down a weightclass where there is less power would be very good. Hope to see him in the UFC |

The kick turned the lights off but his head bouncing off of the mat didn't help much either, probably made it a lot worse. Not saying that kick wasn't like getting hit with hammer attached to a bat, but everything you can expect to go bad in a knockout, happened. |

The fighter is wrestling the ref, or questioning the ref on why the fight got stopped, or protesting he wasn't out at all. When on slo-mo camera he was clearly out even if momentarily. It is rare that the guy is still laying on the mat after a minute or so. Let alone four (4) freakin' minutes. Another six (6) minutes later he is whisked off the hospital via amberlamps for an MRI. No, the only reason this looked scary was NOT because of the silence and camera zooming in. The reason this looked scary is because it WAS scary. Etim/Barboza, Liddell/Rashad, Quarry/Franklin. None of those was even close to this KO. |

Alot of guys go on TUF in the division above where they should fight since they don't have much time to cut.
He should be at 170 no doubt. |
