chicobronson - how about that guy that turned terry etim into a wooden plank? barboza? I also feel like badr hari's wheel kick on stefan leko was WAAAAAAY worse.Hell yea. Hall threw a hook kick which is different but the impact from hari's kick was cringeworthy he just connected with his heel so fucking hard and so quickly

When I watched Barboza KO Etim and Etim fall like a stiff plank of wood, I thought for a brief moment I'd witnessed the first MMA death.

Caught_clean - I am far from a Dana Defender, but pretty sure he said it was one of the worst he had seen, like top 10 or something. Fair statement no? It was an overstatement regardless. It was a lame attempt to save TUF. |

Besides, he probably doesn't believe his own shit but knows that these statements will attract media and the UG attention. |

IN Now I have a thread that makes it easy to show people how quickly a fight can end, and why MMA is one of the most exciting sports to watch.

Edson Barbozas KO of Etim was the most brutal and vicious Ko in UFC's history. I think most of you guys dont even realize how close Etim was to being dead. He was close to being a corpse that night. |

Featherweight bout: Fredson Paixão vs. Pablo Garza Garza defeated Paixão via KO (flying knee) at 0:51 of round 1. TUF 12 Finale... it was on the under card so no one saw it but Fredson laid motionless for like 20 fucking minutes. I was at The Pearl for this show and I thought I saw a death. |

The OP's Title is wrong. Dana actually said 'It's one of the most violent knockout I've ever seen, not just in this sport but in any compat sport'. Which is completely subjective to him, that being said, I love th gifs, keep them coming. |

What a fucking JOKE BLAF is making. TUF ratings have been falling so he starts up this campaign about the terror that lives in the house and one of the worst KOs in the history of the sport. People are lapping it up. Can't blame him. It's working. Personally I think there are plenty of ones worse as already proven on this thread. Here's one I just randomly came across that is more brutal.

One of my favorite KO's is lawler vs manhoef. It's like people don't even remember this KO even happened.

Bucephalus - I remember that fight. Gatti was damn near a middleweight when he stepped in the ring that night. Griffith/Paret was bad for obvious reasons (Paret dying). |
