If we are talking about athletic ability alone it's really hard to argue against Bo Jackson. He had it all at uncharted levels size, strength and speed. Bo Jackson should win on pure athletic grace, Gretzky on specific sport dominance, and Jordan in popularity. Granted this list is going to be nothing more than a popularity contest as all Online polls are, so I'm giving Jordan the edge to win it all here.

Also, not a single gold medalist in the decathlon appears? Fucking really? An athlete achievement that winning makes you, "the greatest athlete on the planet" goes unrepresented? Ashton Eaton shits on everyone listed on this farce of a poll. He gets my write in vote.
