http://www.mma-manifesto.com/ufc-fighter-salary-database/bellator-lxxxv-fighter-salaries.html How much Bellator pays their fighters has remained a bit of a mystery all these years due to the promotion putting the majority of their events on in areas that don't release fighter purse info. But that changed with their first show of Season 8 - Bellator LXXXV (aka Bellator 85) which took place Jan 17th in Irvine, California. For that event we have requested and received the fighter purse info from the California State Athletic Commission. And featherweight champ Pat Curran did quite well for himself. Pat Curran: $60,000 ($30,000 to show, $30,000 win bonus) Michael Chandler: $34,000 ($17,000 to show, $17,000 win bonus) Patricio Freire: $15,000 Jacob Noe: $14,000 ($7,000 to show, $7,000 win bonus) Mikhail Zayats: $14,000 ($7,000 to show, $7,000 win bonus) Emanuel Newton: $14,000 ($7,000 to show, $7,000 win bonus) Jason Lambert: $10,000 ($5,000 to show, $5,000 win bonus) Seth Petruzelli: $10,000 Joe Williams: $8,000 ($4,000 to show, $4,000 win bonus) Rick Hawn: $8,000 Renato Sobral: $7,000 Atanas Djambazov: $7,000 J.J. Ambrose: $6,000 ($3,000 to show, $3,000 win bonus) Savant Young: $6,000 ($3,000 to show, $3,000 win bonus) Cleber Luciano: $6,000 ($3,000 to show, $3,000 win bonus) Aaron Miller: $6,000 ($3,000 to show, $3,000 win bonus) Mike Guyman: $6,000 Hector Ramirez: $5,000 Brian Warren: $3,000 Jamie Yager: $3,000 Mario Navarro: $3,000 Joe Camacho: $3,000 |

WOW, not going to grab free agents with pay like that! Plus with all of there contract problems. Might as well fight in small shows and get back to the UFC. Just my opinion. |

I think the tournament contracts are all the same... Which may explain why they all got 7-7? Don't know. But now that WSOF is on NBC there should be good competition for Free Agents.

I don't believe Babalu got 7k at all. I actually know for a fact he was paid far more than that.
