My point is, wrestling is one of the oldest and possibly hardest sports in the olympics but the majority of people couldn't care less... Wrestling to an outside observer... 1. It's slow. 2. Hard to understand the rules. 3. Why are two sweaty men hugging. 4. They should just punch like in boxing. You may love it, most people do not. |

Your BJJ Professor? Wrestling has been around for thousands of years, will be around for thousands of years and it has ALWAYS been practiced by people all around the world. Just about every nation on earth wrestles. MOST people do love it. It's not being cut for lack of popularity, but because most medals go to the same countries year after year and people feel bad for Trinidad & Tobago. |
