Fuck. This is one of the few sports Canadians have ever won a god damn medal in. Thank you Dan igali.

Get beach volleyball the fuck outta there.
Get the nba and NHL Allstars out of the damn Olympics too.

How about equestrian. They need to have the fucking horse on the podium and give him the medal instead of the talentless midget that just kicked him in the ribs for 5 minutes.

I have never wrestled, get bored with too much wrestling in an mma fight and don't really watch it in the Olympics.

That said it is a much more worthy of being in the Olympics than just about anything else.
Its like running swimming jumping, it's about as pure a sport as there is

Yes. It's the most prestigious medal an amateur can win. Always has been.

Olympics is once every four years. World Championships are every non-Olympic year.

It is also harder to get to the Olympics. A country must qualify for one of 19 spots in a weight class for the Olympics. The World Championships does not have that criteria and the brackets are larger.

Lol just no. It's stupid. These guys already make millions and wipe up the countries with few NHL players.

Once you turn pro at boxing or figure skating you can't enter the Olympics.

Even FIFA keeps pros to under a certain age for the Olympics.

Why? Because its corny to have millionaire pros beat the shit out of dudes that need to hold down regular jobs.
