3 1/2 years to Black Belt World Champion at a time when acheving black belt before 10 years was a point of braggery

In 2 1/2 years he become a UFC world champion in 2 different weight classes

So yeah, he was a little ahead of the curve

See, in his original post, NPD said "I'm still trying to figure out why BJ is called the Progidy." Now, look closely. "Progidy". You may notice that he appears to have spelt "Prodigy" incorrectly. On first glance, one might assume him to be an idiot. This is not the case.

You see, what he was doing was referencing a recent UFC event where Mike Goldberg repeatedly mangled the word, saying "Progidy.. progidity..Progeny..." while Joe laughed at him.

What at first appeard to be a spelling mistake is infact a hilarious reference for people 'in the know'. By so harshly trying to 'educate' him, you have outed yourself as someone who is in fact 'NOT in the know'.

So yeah, DoctorNPD was a little ahead of the curve.

I'm glad somebody got it and didn't think I just suck at spelling/typing.
