how so?

the only thing i have heard about them so far is that they somehow asked questions about who else could have done it, maybe a roommate or something?

who were they asking these questions to while the trial is going on? what context is there for a jury to be talking to anyone or asking questions that somehow become public? the only context i know of for a jury to be asking questions of the court is during deliberations.

maybe i have the story wrong...?

The jury apparently posed questions alluding to whether or not a roommate could have done it.

Jury certainly seems more than retarded.

yeah i read some more about it since then, definitely seem like weird questions to have...

i completely expect a hung jury.

one point the defense wanted in for sure is the comment he makes that she sounds like a 12 year old girl and how hot that is.

then in testimony after the tape was over they suggested (really poorly imo) that several other points in the tape prove how under his control she was and that she couldnt stand up to him or refuse him.

it was WEAK imo and hopefully the jury saw right thru it.

another thing mentioned but im not sure at all - is that the defense tried to have just clips of the tape introduced, the prosecution said all or nothing, and the whole tape got introduced.

so maybe his weak arguments about other stuff in the tape is just him trying to save face after all that other stuff on there got into the record.

I'm hoping that since it was the first day, they wanted to rule out her having any help. The questions from later (like if they get to ask her after she is done) should be interesting. getting a sense right now for how the prosecution is going to handle her during cross, probably obvious anyway but nice to see it confirmed.

if you arent watching - there is some issue over a piece of evidence so the prosecutor got the chance to direct a few questions at arias, he was quite aggressive about it. hopefully he has about 100 items jotted down to challenge her on during cross and will take this approach then also.

Jodi's Grandparents house, where Jodi was living at the time in Yreka, Ca. was broken into before her trip to Arizona. Among the things stolen? A .25 caliber handgun (same caliber used at the crime scene).

Travis was not moving away, he was going on a trip to Cancun with some of his friends. Jodi was not invited.

Jodi was already on the radar of Travis and his friends as being a "stalker" and harassing him. When Travis broke up with her, a day later his tires on his car were slashed.

It has been proposed that when Jodi showed up at Travis's house in Arizona unannounced, after renting a car in Redding, Ca., they had sex. After, Travis told Jodi he wanted to date someone else.

She went into a rage.

Which pictures? Those that are posted on sites like huffington post are pretty tame compared to the ones on crazy websites.

I have no idea how they got some of those pictures...

And as for normal, and the Alexander family, those photos are viewed and entered into evidence so the prosecutor can show the jury that the "self defense" claim by Jodi is a stretch.

And by stretch, I mean not a snowballs chance in hell.
